This listing is for a vintage obijime - the finishing touch for a kimono ensemble. Obijime are wound across the middle of the obi belt and tied with a decorative knot at the front.  It is a braided or woven cording, sometimes referred to as kumihimo with a color and design that complements the obi rather than matching the color. This obijime is a casual style with three thread-wrapped cords that are tightly woven together to make a flat band. The center section is a cream with red and green accents, bordered by sections of a lovely sky blue, followed by the same cream at the ends.
