Kids' vintage kimono are not as commonly available as adult kimono since there were few occasions to wear them. Girl's kimono tend to be colorful with feminine themes and are quite wearable, though they also make beautiful display pieces.  Boy's kimono tend to be in blues and blacks, have masculine or mythical themes, and run small. Children's kimono are typically small sized, so please check measurements carefully.
