This listing is for a vintage underkimono made for a young girl to wear under her festive kimono to a formal event. Only about a quarter inch of the white collar would actually show to the public.

The white silk features a design of wandering, leafy vines, with blossoms appearing here and there. Only the sleeves are lined with white silk.

There is some ever-so-slight yellowing of the white in one area on the right side seam - see last photo.

Although it makes a striking display, it is still quite wearable - but please check the measurements against the child to confirm the fit before ordering. Kimono run small and remember that some of the length would be taken up at the waist when belted.
