This listing is for one yard of cotton fabric salvaged from a vintage Japanese yukata.

Bold monochrome styling (it reads as black but could be dark, dark blue) gives this cotton yukata fabric an eye-catching presence. A stenciled ikat-inspired geometric pattern creates a rhythmic pixel-like effect across the panel, while elegant calligraphic kotobuki (longevity or congratulations) kanji are scattered throughout as auspicious wishes for long life, happiness, and celebration.

Signs of age may be present, including light wear, small marks, or subtle variations consistent with vintage textiles.

Great for piecework, especially when combined with other vintage kimono remnants.
