Grace and grandeur come together in this striking tomesode, where an elegant white peacock unfurls its flowing tail feathers among paulownia leaves, highlighted with shimmering gold leaf and fine embroidery. Peacocks symbolize beauty, dignity, and prosperity, while paulownia is associated with nobility and good fortune, creating a richly symbolic design. Five butterfly family crests complete this formal kimono, adding a distinguished touch of heritage and elegance.

There are signs of age with mottling in some of the lighter areas -- see last photo, but still quite a striking display and still quite wearable.
