This listing is for a group of five different Japanese tassels, each hand-woven. 

Each tassel is a different color but does include a strand of gold or silver. Each is tied in a simple knot and has a loop at the top that can be used to attach the tassel.

We don't know where these came from but they are typically used at the corners of fukusa gift covers, hair ornaments, swords, and other decoratie uses.
