Bold and dramatic, this vintage Japanese dance fan features a striking black bird in expressive brushwork on one side, paired with a monochrome scene of a sacred shrine gate and revered tree on the reverse. The shrine side depicts Ookunitama Shrine, with the tree labeled as the "Sacred Tree," evoking protection, spiritual strength, and a connection to Japan's Shinto traditions, while the red artist's seal adds an authentic finishing touch.
