This listing is for a set of five magnets covered with vintage Japanese kimono fabric - a great gift idea! Each magnet is actually a silk-covered button blank with a magnet attached on the back. 

This set features magnets with fabric from the same kimono remnant. Deep shades of red, yellow, and blue with a mix of floral motifs. Wonderful examples of the yuzen technique (evidenced by the white outlining of each motif). See videos below for how each technique is done.

These little gems combine fun and function, offering a Japanique twist for a teacher's whiteboard, a student's locker, or the home fridge. We love upcycling kimono fabric into "usable art", and they make great gifts, stocking stuffers, party favors...
