Keep your kimono looking flawless with this lightweight, but sturdy telescoping hanger. A great way to prevent sagging and wrinkles, not to mention travel friendly. The hanger hook is plastic and connected to the rod by a strong cord that can be adjusted to keep the hanger level.

The hanger can support the weight of an uchikake wedding kimono which can be 6-10lbs. The ends telescope out from 18" to 50" in total length with a 14" obi section hanging underneath.

This is an excellent option for hanging your kimono and obi together, but we don't recommend hanging it unworn for extended periods of time (years) as the weight of the kimono may weaken the shoulder fabric. It's best to fold the kimono for long term storage.
