Ichi-go ichi-e is a Japanese saying that means, literally: One time, one meeting. But loosely translated, it means: Seize the moment, for it will not come again.

Our Japanique Mugs feature two kimono shapes, each filled with a different image taken from a vintage Japanese kimono. One side is a large temple complex and the other is a snowy village scene. Between the two images is the phrase "Ichi-go Ichi-e" as well as the Japanese kanji for it.
