A nostalgic snapshot of the early Korean Wave, this Japanese folding fan was created as a promotional piece for KBS WORLD, featuring a collage of actors and scenes from popular Korean dramas layered across the pleated surface in soft photographic printing. The kanji and Japanese text reference hit dramas like “Winter Sonata” and “Autumn in My Heart,” tying the fan to the explosion of Hallyu culture throughout Japan in the early 2000s.

These vintage Japanese fans are wonderful as wall accents or used as props in dance, photography, or ceremony. Beautiful for home or office display or as a thoughtful gift.
