This listing is for five different panels taken from a sampler bolt of very elegant, formal obi brocade. Each panel is a traditional design, expertly woven. It may be possible to get all five panels of the same design - request this in the notes section when ordering - otherwise the designs will be a mix of traditional motifs.

Each panel background is either silver or gold or orange with accent colors in the design. Very elegant and formal looking.

Each panel is 14in wide but the lengths vary from 6-10 inches. If you have a preference for length or for a silver, gold or orange backgrounds, be sure to let us know in the notes section of your order.

On the backside you will find trailing silk threads that would be carried along. These can be a challenge to cut out but it can be done if need be. Otherwise, they provide a soft cushion if the panel is used on a purse or pillow.

Obi design houses used to make a set of samples using the same pattern but woven in different color schemes. Each panel was numbered in one corner, as these pieces are (see last photo).
