This listing is for a vintage Japanese purse with an interesting shape.  If empty, it lies flat and could be folded on itself for easy, flat storage. But when filled, it is roomy enough for most essentials.

It is almost a large coin-style pouch but could also be folded to carry like a clutch. We love the design, which appears to be tall, slender kokeshi dolls (a traditional style of wooden Japanese doll) floating along against a rich red rayon. 

The off-center metal top closure adds another unique touch.
