This listing is for a man's Japanese summer kimono - not a yukata, but a casual, light-weight version that could be worn to more semi-formal events during the humid days of summer.

Although this kimono has no patterned motif, the fabric itself is compelling.  It is an indigo-dyed ramie (linen) - a bast fiber known for its breathability and natural sheen. The deep blue tone is subtly irregular, showcasing the handwoven nature of the fabric. Perfect for warm summer evenings.

We paired this kimono with the narrow style of obi that is traditional for this type of kimono.  It features geometric bands in blue on yellow. This obi is 4 inches wide and 13 feet long.

See the videos below for how to put on a casual kimono or yukata as well as a slide show of many beautiful ones!
