This listing is for a vintage Japanese kimono and obi combination.

The kimono features a purple and gray woodgrain pattern in a textured weave. The kimono is unlined, so nice for summer. The fiber is likely a blend of cotton and perhaps rayon or silk - the hand is closer to cotton. Excellent condition.

The obi is nagoya style, with the wider (14in) bow area at one end and the rest of the obi being folded over and stitched to 6.5in, making it less bulky to wrap around the waist.

The obi is a light gray with a large hand-painted flower and fan pattern at the bow end and two smaller versions of the same at the belt portion. The fiber is lightweight and could be silk or perhaps a blend with a baste fiber to get the sliightly stiff feel it has.

A very nice combination!
