This listing is for one yard from a deadstock bolt of unsewn, unused vintage Japanese kimono fabric.

This fabric has an off-white cream background covered with an abstract floral pattern that has, to us, a watercolor effect.  Warm, soft purple and pink accents shade the blossoms but look closely to see the crackling lines between elements. This was likely created with either a rice paste resist or with the roketsuzome (batik) technique that uses wax. Great for piecework, especially when combined with other vintage kimono remnants. Continuous yardage may be available.
