This listing is for a vintage kimono made for a young girl to wear to a formal event. It is quite festive, brilliantly colored and features a collage of motifs that jumble into an eye-catching art piece. Cranes and florals mixed with curved noshi (ribbons), and bright colors really create a dazzling display. Lots going on to keep the eyes and mind engaged!

Although it makes a playful display, it is still quite wearable - but please check the measurements against the child to confirm the fit before ordering. Kimono run small and remember that some of the length would be taken up at the waist when belted. You'll see that there is significant mottling on the silk lining - we've been told this is the aged starch treatment used on these kimono - but there's no impact of this when displayed.
