This jacket is a conundrum for us. It seems to be a cross between a dochugi and a michiyuki. It has the snap closure, extra length and rolled collar that we more typically see in a michiyuki but the tapered sleeves of a dochugi. It crosses over a bit in the front but only snaps at the top.

The fabric is a wool blend, blue and an overall patterning of solid and dotted lines that form two overlapping grids.

This would make a nice duster robe, and the elastic at the wrists could be removed if a smoother cuff is desired.

Please note that the measurement given for the waist/hips is the full, edge-to-edge measurement around the middle, including the overlap.
