This listing is for a scarf made from vintage Japanese kimono fabric.

One side features a beautifully stenciled pattern of flowers in blue, pink, and purple with green leaves. Look closely to see the fine crackle lines that suggest this was done using a wax (rozome), or perhaps a stiff rice paste as a resist. Lots of detail in the senticling and dye work.

The other side is a deep , deep royal navy blue iwth a subtle folding fan pattern woven in.
