Custom Made Kimonos for Sale

Single color,cotton, custom sized, unlined kimono without trim or crests (man's or woman's):
$175

This is a traditional kimono made to your measurements guarantees that it will fit. Men's kimono style has no openings under the armpit; women's style is open under the arm. Each comes with a same-color belt (6.5" wide, 9' long).

We use Wrinklease brand fabric, which is a 100% cotton bottom weight twill and available in black, wine, tan, medium gray, brown and navy blue. We only stock this fabric in black so choosing another color may result in an additional one week delay in shipping the order.

Options:
Send us your own fabric: You can choose your own fabric and send it to us, which reduces the cost by $25. Some restrictions apply to the fabric, i.e., no satins, no denim or heavier fabric, and the fabric width must be at least 45" with 54" preferred. Please email us in advance of placing the order if you intend to send us fabric. Normally, at least 7 yards of 45" width fabric is needed, with additional fabric requried for larger or long-sleeved kimono.

Make it silk instead of cotton for $100 more

Add five embroidered crests for $40 (choose from over 80 images below)

Add a lining - $150 for for white/cream cotton, $250 for white/cream silk, or $125 for your own fabric (7 yds needed)

Add white trim on the collar and cuffs to simulate an underlayer for $30.

Before ordering, have your measurements ready:

-length (typically neck to ankle or floor but it's up to your preference)

-chest and waist (kimono must be created using the larger of these measurements)

- back (shoulder edge to shoulder edge),

- mid-back to wrist

- arm length (shoulder to wrist)

NB: "Sumo Sized" kimono (measurements greater than 65" long or 55 " chest/waist) require an additional fee. EMAIL us for a quote before ordering.

Allow 4 weeks(6 weeks for 2 or more garments) to be completed not including shipping time. (NOTE: If you are sending fabric, the 4 week period begins after we receive the fabric.)

Add five family crests for $40 more
Make your kimono more formal (as pictured here) by adding five family crests - one at mid-back, one on the back of each sleeve and one on each side of the collar in the front. These are machine-embroidered in any color you like from the selection below.
Choose your design and enter the name when you order.
We can also do a single initial in block lettering, as shown in the photos above. Substitute the letter instead of crest name when ordering.
